KIM CUBERO
Kim is USPTA certified and has over 20 years experience teaching at Country Clubs, Racquet Clubs in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Kim has experience with all levels, priding herself in clear, simple communication to help beginning players learn the proper foundation to accelerate development and stick with a "sport for a lifetime." Kim provides instruction to adults in our Fundamental Tennis programs and gives private lessons.

LLOYD JOHNSON
Lloyd Johnson has been in contact with Hillcrest for a number of years. Things have come together where he is able to join the staff as a Teaching Professional in September. Lloyd’s responsibilities will include teaching both junior and adult clinics and private lessons with both juniors and adults. Lloyd has over 20 years coaching experience, and since 1996 has been part of Tennis Jamaica as the National Schools Tennis Coordinator with the responsibility for developing and implementing tennis programs in Preparatory, Primary, High Schools, and Colleges, educating coaches through workshops, and organizing and directing national competitions for these schools. Further, he has been the Head of Tennis at Camp Cobbossee in Maine for 9 years during the summer months, where he has trained staff and developed a training and lesson curriculum for campers.

GARRY LUCAS
Garry Lucas is USPTR cerified and has been involved locally with tennis for more than 40 years. He played Number 1 position throughout an impressive scholastic career losing only to a state semi-finalist. He recently upgraded his USPTR credential to Professional – a level only a few from our region have reached. Since joining the teaching staff at Hillcrest in 2009 he has contributed in teaching programs from Super Pee Wee to seniors as well as private lessons. Garry brings a simple yet refreshing blend of enthusiasm and creativity to Hillcrest as an avid tennis player and coach.

PAUL MCDONOUGH
Paul has been teaching at Hillcrest for over 20 years. He is both USPTA and USPTR certified, and is a graduate of Tyler Junior College for tennis instruction. Former BCTA president, Paul enjoys instructing all levels of play. Paul runs many of our drill sessions, offers instruction for some of our junior programs, gives private lessons and coaches some of our USTA teams.

PAUL PRIOR
Paul has an extensive tennis background, which includes a playing career as one of the top juniors in the nation of South Africa and being selected as a part of ITF African Development squad. He later went on to play professional tennis in Europe and Africa, competing against top international players on the ATP tour, and played the Number 1 position in German Professional Team Tennis for the Andernach Tennis Club. As a tennis coach, Paul has worked with three number one players in South Africa including Tegan Edwards the current number one player in South Africa on the WTA professional tour. In addition he has coached eight players who achieved top 20 junior rankings in the United Kingdom. Paul gives private lessons and clinics.

BRENT ZELLER
Brent has over 35 years of teaching experience and is an expert in both the technical and psychological aspects of the game. Brent played tennis for The College of William and Mary and traveled throughout the U.S. and Europe playing tournament tennis. During his teaching career he has spent over 25,000 hours observing students and the learning process on the court. He’s concluded that introducingcompetitive play to soon in the learning process inhibits a player’s technical and psychological development. From this experience created the ‘Effortless Tennis’ program that focuses on developing the physical, mental, and emotional fundamental skills of tennis before introducing competition. For summer 2010, Brent will be teaching Junior Peak Performance Clinic and Adult Effortless Tennis.
PRIVATE LESSONS WITH OUR PRO STAFF
Work with our tennis professioanls on a 1-on1 basis or with friends to elevate your game and gain greater enjoyment from the game. Our philosophy is rooted on developing more efficiant stroke mechanics that prevent injuries and enhance stroke effectiveness. Further, concentration is to develop greater footwork and balance while simultaneously teaching shot selection and strategies for singles and doubles play. Based on your goals and interests, our staff will develop a comprehensive plan to expand your skills and playing ability to a new level.
Teaching Professional: Prices vary by pro, from $60-$75/hour for private lessons, to $64-$79 for a clinic (3 or more students)
